Posh*Little: Win a bottle of Monster Defense Brave Spray

We've never really had a problem with my 2 year old going to bed. On the contrary, we actually have a hard time keeping her awake so she'll stop waking the entire house up at 5:30 every morning (if we're lucky, that is). That was until recently when my 6 year old used monsters as a lure to get her out of her room. Now, not only does she wake up at 5:30 am, we have to negotiate at bed time because of monsters, shadows and a creepy big sisters. I can't handle the fight at both ends. If you're going to wake up at 5:30 in the morning, you are going to bed w/out a fight. Period!

So when I was contacted by the makers of Monster Defense Brave Spray I couldn't reply quick enough. It's one of those things that is so silly but so perfect. From my kids point of view, I spray away everything. Lice, germs, dirt, stinks, ouches, tangles, stains, etc. Why not spray away the monsters? Like a boo-boo bag or band-aide, sometime a little attention is all they need to feel better and calm their nerves. I am all for this.

So far, Monster Defense has worked great. If Hadley stands back up in her crib and yells about monsters after I tuck her in, I grab the spray and ask her how many monsters she sees. She usually tells me two (since there are two shadows) and then I pump two sprays. After this brave act of monster slaying, I'll breath the freshly sprayed air and tell her how yummy it smells and that it worked. Now it's only shadows which means it's time to go night night.

It smells so good (with hints of orange, maple and vanilla) that I think it would be a very cool plugin type of air freshener. Especially if you have a severe monster infestation. A pump or two does it for me and I love how it freshens the room and surprisingly settles Hadley down.

You can find Monster Defense Brave Spray (a.k.a MD-80) for $9.99 @ Monster-defense.com.
